Coaches social for Tues, 1/05/10 has been moved to Tripps!!!
Due to the unfortunate closure of Hops restaurant, we will be forced to move the Coaches social to Tripps restaurant on Midlothian Turnpike. The social will begin at 8pm.
We will be discussing the upcoming James River Duals (January8-9, 2010) tournament. We could really use a lot of support for this event and I encourage all of you to attend this planning session…

The coaches social originally planned for this evening has been cancelled. The next social will be held on January 5, 2010 and is very important. We will be discussing the upcoming James River Duals and assigning workers.
Attention Wrestlers & Parents – No Practice for Monday, December 21
Due to the weather and school closings, there will not be practice on Monday, December 21st. We will practice from 2pm- 4pm on Tuesday December 22nd, prior to the Old Boys match and the Holiday social.
Attention Wrestlers & Parents – Old Boys Match / Holiday Social Update
Due to the condition of the parking lot and sidewalks at JRHS, we need to reschedule the social for Tuesday, December 22nd (same time.) 5pm Old Boys Match; 6pm Holiday Social. Please plan to attend starting at 5pm to see a great wrestling tradition.
Attention Wrestlers and Parents! – The Lee Davis Invitational has been postponed until 12/29-30/2009
Due to the expected storm, the Lee Davis tournament this weekend has been postponed until 12/29-30/2009. We will be practicing from 12-1:30pm today.
The Beast of the East tournament will still be held and is expected to run on schedule.
Hopewell Invitational results
The Hopewell Invitational this weekend proved to be every bit as tough as expected. Congratulations to Jordan O’Donnel for his third place finish. In addition to Jordan, we had several other place winners in Brayden Manchester (4th), Andy Svanda (4th), Jordan Dibich (6th), and Josh wells (6th). We also need to send out a big congratulations to Cameron O’Donnell who won his first Varsity match this weekend! Congratulations guys!
Attention wrestlers going to Super “H”
Due to travel constraints this weekend, wrestlers will need to arrange their own transportation to (and from) the Arther Ashe center! Wrestlers will need to report to weigh-ins on Friday NO LATER than 2:45pm and Saturday NO LATER than 7:45am.
There will be bus transportation for the Sub-varsity tournament at Colonial Heights…
